Manitobama - The Rise of the Black Eagle

I thought I would post something to tie in with Obama's inauguration tomorrow. ( I am also procrastinating from a gazillion other things. )

I love this video here. It was made over a year ago during a tour of the Legislature by Frank Albo. The group he was with was made up of some indigenous Elders as well as local freemasons, and odd guests like me. During the meeting, my friend and guide, Lyna Hart, a Cree elder, went into the middle of the Pool of the Blackstar and sang the Moon song. Wow Mom! is all I can say about that moment.

I guess I mentioned that video because tomorrow is when the blackstar known as Obama will rise to power.

Around a few weeks ago I gave birth to an icaro (song of gratitude to the plants) with the line "Yes We Can." It is an icaro about Manito Ahbee (sounds like Mani two ahbay), which is really the original indigenous word for Manitoba. It means where the Creator sits.

Soon after this song from the heart was floating around in my head I had a couple dreams where I was with Obama. In the first one it was a few years ago and Obama was in Manitoba and we took Ayahuasca in ceremony together. In the dream I thought to myself how glad I was that I had the chance to do this with him considering his new rise to power as the President.

I have sung the icaro in a couple Ayahuasca ceremonies now and It feels good to sing. Here are the lyrics:

In the centre of the land
In the palm of the Lord's hand

The people make a stand

They sing Yes We Can

Shine down your ray, Manito Ahbee

Light up our way to a brand new day

Manito Ahbee, Yaway, Yaway
Manito Ahbee, Yaway, Yaway

The people are awakening

The hearts are opening

The minds are changing

Manito Ahbee, Yaway, Yaway

Manito Ahbee, Yaway, Yaway

In the centre of the land
The Kingdom is at hand

United we stand

We sing Yes We Can

Shine down your ray, Manito Ahbee

Light up our way to a brand new day

Manito Ahbee, Yaway, Yaway
Manito Ahbee, Yaway, Yaway

Spirit is rising

The World is healing

Peace is coming

Manito Ahbee, Yaway, Yaway

Manito Ahbee, Yaway, Yaway

All across the land
The people understand
Now is the time
To be one with the divine
Listen to your heart and make sure to be kind
Open your eye and see the Holy sign
Now is the time

Manito Ahbee, Yaway, Yaway
Manito Ahbee, Yaway, Yaway

Last thing I decided to do to wrap up this post was to find a picture of Obama to add. I thought I would get a picture of Obama and the US eagle logo as I believe the Eagle of Prophecy is what is flying now. The US and its association with this bird is merely a symbolic pointer to its real power as the messenger of Creator. For many indigenous people of Turtle Island (North America), the Eagle's teaching is Love.

The Love of the Creator allows it to soar in the Clouds of hEVEn.

The Turtle's teaching is Truth.

We can say then that the Turtle (North America) is revealing the Truth of the Love that allows the Eagle (us) to fly high and be close to God.

What also turned up in my search was that this past summer the Crow tribe of Illinois just adopted him and gave him his new spirit name of

Barack Black Eagle Obama!

LinkIn this above picture notice the teepee in the back, otherwise known as Pyramids of the Prairies (looks like a pyramid reflected on top as well).

I hope this all means that Black Eagle will be coming to Manito Ahbee, the sacred site, in due time. He is always welcome here in the centre.

Next day - Tuesday January 20, 2009: I just heard Obama's speech. Very nice, except no mention of the indigenous people who are the real foundation of America. Still, I do not think Black Eagle will disappoint. For all of us to fly he is necessary. He has no choice but to live up to the lofty words he speaks. It is the time we are in. The Newly Ordered World.

Her song resonance... Amazing Grace. It's very beautiful... I like having the music to read to. And really like your recorded Icaro. I wish inspiration upon you.

Assembly of First Nation Chiefs to visit Obama pre-Inauguration for delivery of message

"A First Nations delegation of Chiefs from across Canada will be in Washington D.C. on January 8th 2009, 12 days before the Inauguration of Obama."

thought this was interesting.

Thanks FSS. Back at ya with the inspiration.

Yes interesting thecurse.

I wonder what the message was.

Shamanically, until there is peace with the indigenous people of this land, there will be no peace for the Nations that have occupied and risen on it. But this time is soon here...

Dude I'd love to get stoned and look through Frank Albo's personal collection of Pics. That stash is mind boggling.
